How we got here
A few chapters worth remembering; how a shared decision to pursue athletics in Colorado led to Arizonans to get married on the Sea of Cortez.
January 2022A hello in Golden
During the first week of classes at the Colorado School of Mines, Gabby noticed Max sitting outside one of their shared classes, getting some homework done. She introduced herself, and from that moment on, things unfolded naturally. We had already met through the Student Athletics Advisory Council, but that conversation was the beginning of everything.
Summer 2022First road trip — Disneyland
Our first real trip together: the drive to Disneyland. Max driving, Gabby playing Taylor Swift, and a full weekend of experiencing the parks together.
December 2023Home to Arizona
Diplomas in hand, we both made it back to Arizona by the end of 2023. After almost two years of Colorado winters and ~6 months of long distance, we finally got to do the ordinary weeks together, back home.
February 2025Moving in, Scottsdale
We moved in together in Scottsdale. Solidifying our first pass at combining the aesthetics of golf and swirly.
November 2025The house
We bought a house in Scottsdale and immediately started the renovation. After several months of Gabby's incredible design choices, learning new things (Max), and hard work, our beautiful home was complete. Finaly showing the mastery of the combined golf & swirly aesthetic.

The proposal — Gainey Ranch
Four years in, Max proposed at Gainey Ranch Golf Club with friends and family present. A quiet moment, a perfect speech, and a yes.
October 2026Rocky Point, Mexico
The next chapter — a wedding weekend on the Sea of Cortez with the people who've been in some, or all, all of chapters. We can't wait to have you there.
